I only see some of my photos
You chose “Limit access” when Rolldrift asked. Open Settings → Rolldrift → Photos and choose Full Access, or tap “Choose more photos” in Rolldrift's Settings to add some. Rolldrift works either way; it shows what it can see.
Why don't I see my screenshots?
They are hidden from the feed by default. Tap the Rolldrift wordmark at the top and turn off “Hide screenshots”.
What happens when I heart a post?
The photo becomes a Favorite in Apple Photos, so it is in Photos' Favorites album too, and a Favorite you set in Photos shows as a heart here. Tap the heart again to remove it.
Where do my notes live?
On your iPhone and in its backup. Photos has no way for other apps to write captions, so notes stay in Rolldrift. Settings → Export all notes gives you a Markdown file (and a JSON copy) whenever you want one.
How do I save a trip into an album?
Tap the bookmark under a post and choose an album, or make a new one. The album you used last is always first, so a whole trip is two taps per post. Albums are real Apple Photos albums. The free version includes one album made in Rolldrift; Pro adds unlimited albums.
Videos are silent
The feed starts muted so it never interrupts your music. Tap a video, or its speaker button, or press volume up, and sound stays on for the rest of that session. Settings → Video → Start with sound makes it the default.
Some posts show a spinning ring
Those photos are in iCloud and are downloading. If one says “Couldn't load from iCloud”, check your connection and tap Retry. Settings → Video → Autoplay → Wi-Fi only saves mobile data.
How do I restore Rolldrift Pro?
Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account that bought it. It is a one-time purchase; there is nothing to cancel.
